Lurgan Sports Medicine Clinic Going From Strength to Strength

For over 20 years, our Lurgan Sport & Exercise Medicine Clinic has been supporting athletes and the wider public with sports injuries and non sports related musculoskeletal conditions.

The Lurgan and wider Co Armagh area has seen a continued growth and on field success for a number of teams. From All Irelands, Schools and Provincial titles, it has been a successful period. The past year has also been a successful one for our Lurgan sports medicine clinic.

We’re  delighted to have helped many local athletes from GAA (Clubs and Counties), Football, Rugby and a wide variety of other sports, to continue to perform at their highest levels. From specialist assessments, accurate diagnosis, tailored treatment plans and specialist services such as ultrasound guided joint injections, we’ve helped many local athletes recover from sporting injuries, get back to their sport as quickly but as safely as possible and reduce the risk of injury recurrence.

But our clinic is not just for elite or recreational athletes. We’ve also helped a large number of patients with musculoskeletal or orthopaedic conditions (e.g. back pain, arthritis and many more conditions). Indeed, many people develop pain in a muscle, joint or spine, in day to day activities or at work, rather than during sport. 

The success builds on us opening our second clinic at Carrick Road Medical Centre in Dundalk in April this year. Since opening, our Dundalk clinic as also been very busy helping patients in south Ulster and Leinster.
